**CLOSED** Sweet Little Bottoms' AMP Duo Pocket Diaper Review & Giveaway

I am very happy to be partnering with yet another terrific Albertan company, Sweet Little Bottoms Baby Boutique, based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I love this quaint little online baby boutique and its friendly, WAHM owner, Krista. I really admire Krista for taking cloth diapering by the horns; when she found out there weren't any local stores carrying the CDing products she was interested, she decided to open up her own shop and bring the products into her community. I know she's filling a fantastic niche here in Alberta!

Sweet Little Bottoms is about more than just just diapers themselves, though. Krista also stocks changing pads, wet bags, baby wash, and body products for both baby and mom. I'm sure Krista looks forward to bringing in more of her favorite products as the need arises for them.

For this review in particular, Krista sent me a sweet little AMP (Anne Marie Padorie) Duo Pocket diaper. AMP creates so many cute colors of diapers that I had a very hard time deciding which color I'd like best. In the end, though, I finally settled on 'Sage' because it was so unique compared to what I've seen with other pocket diaper colors.

I really love the design of this diaper. Not only are all the gussets and elastic ruffles so darned cute (really, have you ever seen another diaper this adorable?), but it is so light, flexible, and stretchy that it fits like a glove! This is also one of the trimmest diapers I have ever tried on Baby A. She is a very petite girl and while I love the typically fluffy rump, I really love that this diaper is cushy but not at all bulky. In fact, it is one of the best-fitting diapers under tight infant pants or leotards!

Both the waterproof PUL shell and the microfleece inner on this diaper are incredibly soft and lightweight. Even after multiple washes and hanging it to dry, this diaper still feels like it has just come straight from the packaging, that's how soft it has stayed. The snaps are incredibly adjustable across the waist (there are two rows of waist/thigh snaps), and the rise also adjusts by snaps (for a small, medium, or large rise). Matching the rest of this diaper's daintiness, the snaps are also a little smaller and more delicate than the snaps on most of my other pocket diapers. The overall design of this diaper is so sweet and is very well thought-out in terms of appearance. Though highly adjustable, this diaper is also available in both 'small' (6-18lbs) and 'large' (15-35lbs) sizes for further assurance that it will fit properly.

Apart from being cute, though, this diaper is also super functional and easy to use. It is the first pocket diaper I've ever tried that stuffs from the front, not the back. It stuffs with an envelope style flap folding over the opening (which I like, because it seems to prevent wicking and shifting, in my opinion). The pocket opening is also extremely wide and flexible, possibly making this the easiest pocket diaper to stuff in my collection of many pockets. The diaper came for review with one thirsty microfibre insert (though hemp and bamboo are also available), which compares with the other microfibre inserts I've used before, and worked like a charm. At night time, I easily double-stuffed this diaper using another one of my microfibre inserts from my personal stash, and Baby A slept 11 hours straight in it with only the tiniest bit of dampness where her sleepers bunched up near the waist elastic at the back (I think the pajamas themselves wicked a bit of moisture out, but the diaper itself seemed sound!).

This diaper has laundered easily, and I've had no problems with staining as the inner lining washes very clean with my regular laundry routine. This shell is also one of the faster-drying ones in my collection because it is just so trim and lightweight (and that's with strict air drying only).

Overall, this is a really fantastic little diaper--it's super cute, super trim, and still works just as well as its bulkier counterparts in terms of absorbancy. I would highly recommend this diaper to anyone looking to add a fabulous pocket diaper to their stash!
